Our DSI satin is slightly different to normal and conventional satin for its give and slight stretch ability, hence the name Stretch Satin. There is just enough stretch to allow fit and flexibility, while avoiding any unwanted bounce when moving. Normally used as top layers or inside Ballroom skirts, our stretch satin is used quite extensively for mans dancewear for its luxurious look, while being ever so comfortable to wear.

We are pleased to introduce the newest fabric to our ever-expanding collection, the “Dotty” mesh. Featuring a four-way stretch and similar composition to our regular mesh, this subtle, understated and feminine fabric provides further creative design options. Produced in Germany, Dotty mesh is initially available in black and white.

Genova is a thinly striped, hence quite transparent, fabric for a sophisticated, sensual look. Available in White only, this is an intricate fabric, which epitomises style.

Padova’s bold, distinguished black and seethrough mesh stripes to create a classic traditional look. Available in Black only.

Straight linear stripes provide a true regal look for a very formal & classic appearance. Available in a variety of colours.

Made in Italy to an uncompromising standard, this authentic crepe is defined by its exceptionally soft handle, fluid movement, and refined drape. Designed to follow the body with effortless precision, it offers a subtle, flattering flow that is particularly suited to Latin dancewear and fitted dress designs, where movement and silhouette are everything.

Unlike lower-grade alternatives, DSI Crepe remains virtually crease-free, maintaining a clean, polished appearance both on and off the floor. Its smooth surface and controlled stretch allow for comfort without compromising structure, making it equally suitable for practice wear and performance garments.

Our latest production introduces an enhanced 160cm width in selected colours — including Black, Flamenco, White, and Lime — offering greater yield and efficiency per metre. This wider format represents both practical value and a continued evolution of the fabric.

Alongside these new shades, a curated selection of classic colours from earlier batches remains available, all carefully aligned within the DSI colour system for seamless coordination across fabrics and trimmings.
