DSI London Goes “Wicked”

Big reveal! We are beyond excited to finally share that DSI London played a pivotal role in the costume creation for the sensational new Wicked Movie. Bringing the world of Oz to life on screen was a challenge like no other, and we couldn’t be more proud of our team’s craftsmanship and dedication.

For Part One of this epic production, we meticulously crafted:
 

• Nearly 1000 shirts for the students of Shiz University – a true display of precision and uniformity.

• Stunning outfits for the Shiz dancers at the vibrant Ozdust Ballroom scenes.

• The most intricate pleated costumes for the dazzling Wizzo Mania dancers – a showcase of artistry and technical mastery.

• Unique outfits for the Emerald City beauticians, adding flair to this fantastical setting.

• Around 30 tail suits and jackets for the dapper citizens of Emerald City – designed to reflect the grandeur and elegance of Oz.
 

This has truly been one of the most rewarding and creative challenges in our history. Seeing these costumes on the big screen, seamlessly blending into the vibrant, magical world of Wicked, was a moment of immense pride and joy for our entire team.
 

As a film that is already capturing hearts and breaking records, Wicked promises to be a milestone in cinema – and we are honoured to have contributed to its visual splendour.

So next time you find yourself transported to Shiz University or mesmerised by the glittering streets of Emerald City, take a moment to appreciate the costumes – each one a labour of love from our South London studio.
