Georgette is one of the most commonly used polyester fabrics in the dance world. It epitomises the Ballroom look as it is so often used for Ballroom skirts and floats. Ideally suited for pleating this fabric is versatile and can create a wide range of looks. It’s soft and lightweight nature highlights and perfectly embraces the swing and flowing movements that characterise Ballroom dancing.

Luxury Georgette, or more technically known as ‘Cationic Georgette’ is slightly heavier and therefore more superior in quality to regular georgette allowing for a brighter and more intense colour. More specifically, the brightest of the colours within the fluorescent spectrum such as the scarlet, flame red and turquoise can only be produced in the luxury version of georgette.

We can cut half circles in any DSI georgette and submit these to a sunray pleating service on request.  Please allow a minimum of 2-3 weeks from order to delivery of these half circles.
