DSI DRESSES AT BERKELEY CASTLE
7th June 2020
Fourteen stunning dresses from the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, made here at DSI London, will be on display in a special exhibition in the Great Hall of Berkeley Castle throughout September.
The glamorous exhibition will launch with a red-carpet party on 31st August including a Q&A session with Strictly celebrity, Russell Grant, BBC executive producer, Richard Curwen, and DSI London’s senior sales executive, Carole Williams, who will reveal fascinating details about each of the dresses on display.
All 14 dresses were made at DSI London, under the direction of costume designer Vicky Gill, with each bead and rhinestone painstakingly attached by hand.
The launch party on Friday 31st, which starts at 6.30pm,includes a welcome drink, live music and sneak preview of the Strictly dresses before they go on display to castle visitors in September. The event closes at 10pm and tickets cost £35 each.
The exhibition gives visitors to the castle a fun and informative chance to celebrate the new season of Strictly, which returns to our screens this autumn. Entry to the exhibition is available during normal castle opening hours and is included in the admission fee.
