DSI London returns to the magical world of Oz
Big reveal — Part Two
We are beyond excited to share more of our work on the second chapter of Wicked, the global cinematic phenomenon that continues to captivate audiences around the world.
Following our extensive involvement in Wicked: Part One, it was a privilege to once again contribute to this extraordinary production — returning to the magical world of Oz with new creative challenges, fresh designs, and the same commitment to excellence that defines everything we do at DSI London.
Our Work on Wicked: Part Two
For Wicked: For Good, our South London studio was entrusted with creating a new range of costumes that demanded precision, consistency, and exceptional attention to detail. All garments were produced in-house, under tight schedules and exacting standards — a testament to the strength and flexibility of local London manufacturing.
• For Part Two, we created:
• Glinda’s assistant costumes
• Glinda’s Girl Guides
Emerald City beauticians, returning once more to the screen
Each piece was crafted to integrate seamlessly into the established visual language of the film, while meeting the practical demands of movement, continuity, and cinematic storytelling.
Craftsmanship Made in London
This project once again highlights what is possible when skilled craftsmanship, experience, and production capability come together under one roof. From cutting and construction through to fitting and finishing, all work was completed in our South London studio, reinforcing our long-standing commitment to Made in London manufacturing.
Productions of this scale and complexity require absolute reliability, adaptability, and trust — qualities that have defined our working relationships across film, theatre, and live performance for decades.
A Creative Partnership Built on Trust
We are incredibly grateful to Costume Designer Paul Tazewell and Assistant Costume Designer Lloyd Middleton for trusting us once again to help bring this iconic world to life. Being invited back for Part Two is a true honour and a reflection of the collaborative spirit behind this production.
Seeing our costumes return to the screen — alive with colour, character, and movement — has been every bit as rewarding and inspiring as the first chapter.
A truly wicked experience — again.
