Week One

10th December 2015

Phew – the first dances are done!  Take a look at a couple of the Strictly dresses under the microscope from the weekends shows.

As worn by Carol Kirkwood

Looking very elegant in hematite, Carol looked as glamorous as ever doing her cha cha cha.

She wore hematite Devine stretch lace on the top half covered in crystal rhinestones to accentuate the delicate floral design.

Featuring a sweetheart neckline excellently creating femininity to the garment, the top was finished off with wide Stretch satin shoulder straps in the newly introduced hematite colour.

This satin was also used to highlight her small waistline with a matching wide belt – creating the timeless hourglass silhouette.

The skirt is cut into an asymmetric line with hand applied hematite tactel fringing in 30cm drops.

This adds tonnes of movement and shows off a cheeky bit of leg too! A truly beautiful dress.

As worn by Anita Rani

Anita donned a very sparkly silver number for her Cha Cha on Friday night.

Based on a Silver Metallic Dot lycra leotard this was the perfect foundation to build layers of single strands of Silver Tactel Fringe now available in lengths of 15cm, 30cm, 60cm, 75cm and even 90cm!

With Silver Bugle Beads intrinsically hand applied, graduating from the skirt up to the bust this dress is full of detail, shimmer and movement.

The neckline is encrusted with heavy crystal and crystal ab Swarovski Sew -on jewellery stones making the dress worthy of a Hollywood starlet!

With a glamorous halter neck and detailed criss-cross straps to the back this dress is simply stunning.
