DSI London is very proud to be dressing the team from the very newest version of Dancing with the Stars, which premiered recently in Iceland.
Known as Allir Geta Dansað in Iceland, the show made its debut on Stod 2, the country’s biggest commercial channel, on 11th March 2018. The series airs on primetime every Sunday night.
This latest adaptation of Dancing with the Stars is testament to the international appeal of the extremely successful franchise.
“We have had an eye on this format for quite some time and are very excited to finally bring the amazing energy, entertainment and of course glitter finally to Iceland,” said Johanna Gisladottir, Head of Acquisitions and Programming at Stod 2.
The format license for Dancing with the Stars, the world’s leading dance entertainment brand, has been sold to 55 countries and over 300 seasons of the format have aired across the globe.
At DSI London, we’re very proud to be involved with so many versions of the show and thrilled to be bringing our expertise to the Icelandic version.
