Pick YOUR winner on DSI TV!

The first EVER Dance Beat Dance-Off will be live streamed on DSI TV from Boston on Saturday 15th September.

This exciting new format, which takes place as part of the DBDC this year at Boston Park Plaza Hotel, offers a huge total purse of prize money of $10,000 and YOU, the audience at home, get to be involved in the judging process.

Inspired by a DSI TV concept, the semi-finals and finals of the Amateur Latin Dance Beat Dance-Off distil the action into a two-couple dance-off and each couple in the semi-finals even gets the floor to themselves for a whole minute.

The viewers, at home and in the ballroom, will be the only judges in this competition. Each round will consist of three segments and at the completion of each round you will be asked to vote on all three segments.  

The three segments are as follows. First, the couples will dance one minute of a preselected dance on the floor together.  You will be selecting your favourite COUPLE. Second, the couples will switch partners and dance 45 seconds of a preselected dance. In this segment you will select your favourite DANCER.  

Finally, each couple will present a one-minute solo routine to music of their own selection.  Anything goes! Again, the audience, will vote for its favourite COUPLE. The couple that amasses the most points over all three segments will win the round.

In addition to the Dance Beat Dance-Off, the same evening also sees the finals of the Open Professional Rhythm and the Open Professional Ballroom.

Please note that because of the time difference the live stream in the UK will begin at 2.45am on Sunday 16th, but we promise it will be a viewing experience worth staying up for!
