How Your DSI TV Personal Video Works

Your performance. Your choice. A simple way to keep the dances that matter to you.
Booking a DSI TV Personal Video is simple.
Tell us which performances you would like us to record and the minimum number of Personal Videos you would like to purchase. We will make every reasonable effort to capture your requested performances.
After the competition, you can choose your Personal Videos from the suitable performances we successfully captured.
Here is how it works.



1. Book Your Personal Videos

Tell us which event or events you are dancing in and which performances you would like us to record.
You can ask us to record:

You also choose the minimum number of Personal Videos you would like to purchase.

This is your Minimum Purchase Commitment.

2. Tell Us How You May Use Your Videos
You might want your Personal Videos to review your dancing with your teacher, keep as a memory, share with family and friends, create something for social media or showcase your performance.
Tell us how you think you may use them. You can choose more than one option and you are not committing to purchasing anything extra.
If you are not sure, that is absolutely fine. You can also trust DSI TV to choose the most suitable filming format for you.

3. Pay Your 50% Advance Payment
A 50% advance payment, based on your Minimum Purchase Commitment, confirms your booking.
The remaining balance is calculated after the competition.

4. We Film Your Performances
Our filming team will make every reasonable effort to record the performances you requested.
Where reasonably possible, we may also capture additional performances to give you more choice afterwards.
Dance competitions are live events, so we cannot guarantee that every requested performance will always be successfully recorded.

5. We Prepare Your Videos
After the competition, we process the suitable performances we successfully captured for you.
We then prepare your Personal Video Library and calculate your remaining balance.
If we cannot provide your Minimum Purchase Commitment, you will only pay for the Personal Videos we can provide.

6. You Choose Your Personal Videos
Once your remaining balance has been paid, your Personal Video Library opens.
You can then choose which available performances make up your purchased Personal Videos.
For example:
You commit to 10 Personal Videos.
We successfully capture 15.
You choose your favourite 10.
This gives you more choice over the performances you ultimately keep.

7. Want More?
If we captured additional Personal Videos, you can purchase them directly from your Personal Video Library.
There is no obligation to buy more than your Minimum Purchase Commitment.

8. Do Something More With Your Performance
Your Personal Video can simply remain your complete record of a dance.
Or, once you have seen your performances, you can decide whether you would like to do something more.

Turn selected Personal Video footage into a shorter, creatively edited presentation—ideal for social media.

Bespoke Reel
Create something individual by combining performances with other suitable footage and special moments.

Spotlight Your Performance
Choose a finished DSI TV video to showcase with your names in DSI TV's Couple Focus section and on the DSI TV YouTube channel.
There is no need to decide about any of these additional services when you make your original Personal Video booking.
